A Line From the Pastor
You have been good to the Haynes Family from the first day I became your pastor. You have supported me, given us gifts, sent us on trips, and loved us.
I will never forget your outpouring of love as you prayed for Dave last week. God gave me a real peace after that prayer. As most of you know, Dave's results from his biopsy was negative. Praise God! No Cancer! While he is still very sick and in need of more prayer, it is a great relief to know that he is cancer free. You are a special people, and it is my great joy to pastor a church that is filled with so much love.

Children's Church is available for your child in these age groups:
Pre-School Church - ages 3 through Kindergarten, immediately after Sunday School
(Meets in the Pre-school Sunday School Classroom)
Junior Church - 1st Grade through 5th Grade, starts immediately after Sunday School.
(Meets in the Pairs & Spares Classroom in the Family Life Center)
We will be having a Valentine Singing Fundraising Dinner for needy families at Lake Drive Baptist on Saturday, February 18th. Dinner will begin at 5:30 pm and the singing will begin at 7:00 pm featuring the Lake Drive Baptist Choir, Ken Hicks and Testimony, and One Call with Scott & Janice Pendergrass and Beth Harris.
We are serving a great worship service each Sunday at 8:30 am for those of you who are early-risers. If you come to this service, you will have the pew of your choice, a great (smaller) choir, special music and the same message from our Pastor that you would hear at the later service. Best of all, you will be dismissed in time for Sunday School, and will be on your way home before the 11:00 am service even starts! If we have wet your appetite just a little, come taste the blessings of the early morning Son-Shine!
